Hey Legends, so you have probably noticed a lot of chatter around the new Prestige Skin unlockable introduced into Apex recently. You buy the Prestige Skin, and you can unlock 2 more tiers to it (3 total). This is done through accumulating damage with that character. We now have a Bloodhound Prestige Skin available for purchase, however many are having trouble unlocking the 2 tiers after Tier 1.
The Skin progression goes as follows:
–Unlock Tier 1 by completing the Collection Event or purchasing the skin from the Mythics store.
–Unlock Tier 2 by completing 30,000 damage with Bloodhound.
–Unlock Tier 3 by completing 100,000 damage with Bloodhound.
Pretty straight forward, except damage numbers are either resetting or just not counting on the damage tracker.
According to Respawn –
“We are aware of a bug with the Bloodhound Prestige Skin where the damage counter resets in some cases. There is a fix in progress, and we plan to deploy it early next week. In the meantime, we are working on a make-good for lost progress—stay tuned for more details.”
So, if you were one of the people who bought this skin and are having trouble with it do not despair. They will be coming out with a fix early next week and they are even going to grant some lost progress help for the inconvenience. Considering the individuals who currently own this Skin paid $160 for it, I’d say that “make-good for lost progress” amount better be substantial.
