Panic’s Clip Sparks the Debate
On October 14, Team Liquid’s Panic shared a gameplay clip with the caption “Just a little shaky.” The post prompted questions about the visible movement in YanYa’s aim and whether it could indicate prohibited controller input manipulation.

ImperialHal also questioned the footage in a reply to YanYa. He argued that the shaking looked different from YanYa’s earlier gameplay and asked why it appeared during close-range fights. These comments express his suspicion; they do not independently establish the cause of the movement.

YanYa Denies Cheating and Offers a PC Check
YanYa rejected the accusations in a longer response, saying clips were being used against him without proof and that public allegations could affect his professional career.
He pointed to his LAN performances as part of his defense, saying he historically performs better at in-person tournaments than online. He also accused Sikezz of searching for suspicious clips for several months. Those are YanYa’s statements, rather than independently verified findings about his statistics or another player’s actions.
YanYa explicitly denied cheating and offered to let Respawn’s Hideouts inspect his PC. The material reviewed does not include a completed inspection or its findings.

What Respawn’s Controller Rules Actually Say
Respawn addressed controller input manipulation in its July 9 anti-cheat announcement. The studio said using jitter aim or RC filters to exploit aim assist and negate controller recoil constitutes cheating. It also said it had introduced detection measures against those exploits.
The announcement warned that players caught altering aim assist or recoil patterns through hardware or software would be flagged as cheaters and face account bans under its terms of service.
That policy explains why the footage has attracted scrutiny. It does not establish that YanYa violated it. A visual resemblance in a clip does not identify the hardware, software or input responsible for the movement.

What Remains Unconfirmed
As of October 15 there is no public Respawn or ALGS ruling on these accusations that we could find, no confirmed ban linked to them, and no published inspection result.
The verified story is that Panic posted the clip, ImperialHal publicly questioned it, and YanYa denied cheating. Claims about private reports to tournament administrators remain unverified in this report.
An accusation is not a confirmed cheating finding. This report does not conclude that YanYa used jitter aim, an RC filter exploit or any other prohibited tool.
